Honestly, parking here can be a beast, but other than that, this is a great place to catch up with friends or meet with people. There was one day during lunch that I circled the parking lot at least 3 times trying to find a parking spot. I ended up having to pull a creeper move and follow someone the moment they walked out of the restaurant. The parking lot is pretty large, but it shares it with other establishments, so at lunch it gets packed. There are a couple of tables outside. On a nice day it is relaxing to sit out there. Inside there are many tables and a community room. If you're having a large meeting, you can reserve the community room. If you come here with a large group of friends, the community room is nice, and you can pull chairs and tables together. The food is like every other Panera Bread. I think Panera Bread has a good variety and is reasonably priced. You also get the food quickly.

This is my favorite of all Panera's because it is cozy yet spacious. I feel this is a great location where you can come to study or work but come to sit and talk with friends or enjoy alone time. Like any Panera they offer delicious soups, salads and sandwiches. The pastries are evil and hard to stay away from ha ha ha. I love the mock fire place especially now that the weather is getting cooler. Also, this is in the upper part of Saint Pete on 4th St which is a nice area and right near Crescent Lake Park if you want to go for a nice walk afterwards. Great place to pop in for a bit be it for soup or coffee and other places nearby if you want to take a brisk walk.

We use to order from this location often. But they have just gone down hill. We had an order get double charged the owner was suppose to fix the issue never did. After several phone calls and emails done! We'll go to a different location.?

Most of what I wrote for another Panera applies here so I'm going to cut and paste: This is my office away from my office. When I want to keep working but do so in a place with bottomless coffee that I don't have to make and amazing pastries I go here. It's very comfortable place, one that was clearly designed for people to linger in. The coffee is awesome in particular the hazelnut (I prefer it to 'bucks). They don't have iced coffee on the menu but they'll give you a big cold drink cup and you can make it yourself. Their breakfast sandwiches are ... eh.... they keep introducing different ones trying to find something that works. The problem with them is always the rubbery eggs so I get them without the eggs. But they have great little breakfast casserole things. Their salads, bagels, lunch sandwiches, soups (available in a bread bowl) and pastries are very good. They also offer fresh baked bread. They do tend to run out of things a bit sooner than I think they should and that's what takes them down to 4 stars. But if there's a particular loaf of bread or pastry that you want if you call them in the morning they'll set it aside for you. They box up some of their breads and pastries to make them appropriate hostess gifts so if you need to take something when you go a calling swing by and grab some yummy pastry or bread. They do have outside seating but smokers be aware that even their outside seating is smoke free. It is not, however, dog free so if you want bring the mutt. They give all their leftovers at the end of the day to charity that in and of itself would bring me there again and again. Ok original content for this location follows The parking lot here is a little on the small side so that may be an issue . Getting in and out is difficult depending on what direction you're going. I usually go in and out the alley that runs to 5th street then north to 22nd, It is right next to a really nice park so .... picnic?

I normally do not write a negative review, but the service today at this location was terrible. Cashiers were slow and overwhelmed. I was not asked if I wanted butter or cream cheese for my bagel. I didn't think about it because the menu says bagel with cream cheese. I got nothing and when I questioned it I was told I had to pay extra. The manager was just plain rude about it. This will not dissuade me from Panera as a whole, but I will not be back to this location again.

Just about my favorite place to get breakfast in the AM. Try their souffles for a great change from the regular bagel.

I have been to this Panera location once before. And it was much better this time around. I noticed the restaurant was very clean and almost every table was full - good for a Saturday afternoon! The cashier who you order with first was a very pleasant lady. She is very nice and accommodated my order to my liking. I ordered the pasta primavera for lunch. And boy was it awesome. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and it had broccoli, peas, carrots, yellow squash, spinach and a light creamy pesto sauce - healthy! And of course the famous french baguette bread came with it. Super doughy and perfect. I will certainly come back again soon.

This panera location is very good. The food is excellent and on par with the other locations. Staff is friendly and professional. I have been addicted to the power kale chicken ceasar salad and lemon orzo soup pick 2 combo. Prices are fair and food is good. Parking situation could be better, but all in all this location is good.

I really like Panera, but this is one of the worse locations. The restaurant is centrally located to downtown. But, Parking is terrible, the restaurant is not kept clean, and the staff is consistently not friendly. The food is up to usual Panera standards.

Your phone's data connection might not work inside the restaurant. WiFi is good for 30 min between 11 a.m. and 1 or 2. Clean? Yes. Customer Service? Needs work on. Experienced something similar to the person who posted on 02/25/15 and around the same time. Wrote to corporate. Found out it's a franchise.

WORST PANERA WI-FI IN THE AREA! Wi-Fi and cell reception never works. I have had no problems at the Tyrone nor the Pinellas Park location.

I'm a sucker for the four cheese souffle! The coffee here isn't fantastic, however, the lottes are pretty good. This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch or just a snack. Panera also offers a variety of delicious bagels with plenty of cream cheese flavors to choose from. My favorites are Asiago Cheese and Everything bagels! Both are incredibly good! The staff here are super friendly and the restaurant is kept clean even when it's packed at lunchtime.

Definitely the worst experience I've had to date at Panera. I walked in and was not greeted by anyone. There was one person currently ordering and no one else in line. I waited for 8 minutes for this person in front of me to complete her order. In this time, I was passed by 5 other Panera employees. Not one addressed me, said hello, offered to help me, or at least tell me it would be just another minute. When I finally got up to order, the girl and the register did not greet me in any way. In fact, I said hello to her and she didn't even have the common decency to respond. I made my order and she never asked what side I wanted. She was very short with me and not pleasant in any way. Another girl came out to fill my drink. I said hello to her as well, and again, no response. This place seems to be run by ignorant trolls that feed off of rudeness that are killed by compassion and friendliness. Someone needs to straighten this place up.

Poor Panera. They have a solid menu, a really cozy interior and a good concept, but some major oversights always water down the enthusiasm I want to have for this place. First of all, get some better people to work the counter. The staff is uniformly young and desperately bored, yet they immediately get confused if there's more than 2 orders to fill. On slow nights there's a lot of noisy banter and fooling around, so if you're thinking of using the free wifi to get some work done, be sure to bring some earbuds. Secondly, pastries never taste fresh, even in the morning, and there's inevitably a few gnats or little flies hovering around the sticky-sweet treats, which puts me off even if I was starving when I came in. I wish they'd move to closed cases. Thirdly, the coffee is always weak and their lattes are seriously the worst...like dirty milk. I give them an extra star for the egg souffle breakfast thingies, though they're constantly running out of them. I will say the sandwiches and lunch salads are huge and fresh and usually a good deal for the price, even if they're kind of bland. Oh, and good luck parking if you're going to the Crescent Lake location. Better walk there or ride a bike.

I am beginning to wonder about this brand walked in Sunday morning not very busy the cashier spoke so softly I couldn't hear a word he said and was not sure he got my order correct after several minutes of us both saying "what" he got it, however my girlfriend wanted the same thing but apparently I got the last everything bagel bummer right not so fast she ordered a plain toasted bagel how easy is this well it seems she ordered the last plain bagel and it was torn smashed and looked more like a pretzel stick than a bagel but we went with it. It was almost comical to watch this crew in action customer after customer had to be told we don't have any of those so many decisions to be made and so many blank stares between the customers and crew. I know that at the end of each day they donate the left-over to a food bank and I'm sure they don't want to give away but so much profit but folks it's not even 10 AM in a very busy tourist area. I love the bagels here but I am thinking I need to find another replacement bagel supplier before Panera closes it's doors for good hopefully a New York Bagel store will open in every location Panera struggles to hold on to. :-(

This is my go-to for a quick lunch/breakfast, or a coffee after a nice walk around Crescent Lake. CATERING: We've gotten catering from them several times over at work. I'm usually the one ordering for both large-scale events and little office celebrations, and have had minimal hiccups with their service. Only once did they really mess up, and it was because they took an order for a sandwich that they no longer carried, but they did their best to replicate it with their current ingredients. REGULAR BUSINESS: I've had pretty good luck, but they always, without fail, mess up my boyfriend's order somehow. The only reason I didn't knock this down to two stars: boyfriend has never bothered to complain about it (sigh) so I have no baseline describing how they would have handled their mistake. We still keep going back though; the sierra turkey sandwiches and breakfast soufflés are just that good.

Your typical Panera Bread with its typical, overpriced food . Tasty, but nowadays the food do not reflect their prices. I like this location because of its customer service. The cashiers I have encountered are very nice; they are attentive, and articulate when repeating an order. Maybe I came on their good days and haven't experienced the cranky side of this location. But I haven't had any problems so far, and management has left us and my partner's service dog alone. That's what counts most to me. Both the exterior and interior are kept clean and tidy, also a Panera norm. Location and parking here sure sucks, though. There isn't a large sign that notifies drivers where Panera is; it's on the building among three other businesses within the building, which makes it difficult to point out. The parking lot is located behind the building, but careful not to hit anyone coming in or out - these roads are tight!

Calm music, not to loud which was nice. Cashier was attentive but not busy at all so had a chance to be. Got my favorite French onion soup, but something was terribly wrong with it. It was very watered down and almost had a metallic like taste to it. Sad for me because I was hopping to make this my new study/lunch spot :(

These guys were fast friendly and the food was great! especially love my hazelnut coffee piping hot. Centrally located on fourth Street in a cool section of town. I've had lunch before there also and it is very good.
